Discover Rigot cat sculpture Baccarat. Robert Rigot was born in 1929 in France (Saône-et-Loire). At only 25, he received the Grand Prix of Rome and became a resident of the Academie de France at the Villa Medici in Rome from 1954 to 1958. Back in France, he returned to Burgundy where he found inspiration for his works. Among other things, he has made large bronze Decorative pieces. His talents is recognized both in France and abroad, both by collectors but also by museums like the Museum of Modern Art in Paris.

His collaboration with Baccarat began in 1968 with the creation of decorative objects and sculptures. Some of his pieces also received awards like “The Owl” in 1968 thanks to which he received the Oscar at the Salon du Feu in 1970 and the International Oscar of Design in 1971. Discover collaboration Rigot – Baccarat.
