A French painter and sculptor, Marie-Paule Deville-Chabrolle was born in 1952 in Meknes, Morocco. She studied at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Pau and spent two years at the Phnom-Penh Fine Arts faculty in Cambodia. She draws, sculpts, then transforms women into bronze, producing curved figures of expressive gentleness that emanate a sense of contemplation and inner strength. Her works are a passionate tribute to grace and femininity.
Her work is recognized by the Accademia Internationale “Greci Marino” in Italy. In 2000, she was chosen to create the “French Marianne of the year 2000” under the features of Laetitia Casta. Her works are exhibited in the Galeries Bartoux in Paris, Honfleur, Saint Paul de Vence and Cannes, and is part of numerous private collections around the world.
Since 2005, Marie-Paule Deville-Chabrolle has been collaborating with Daum, creating pieces of great beauty in crystal. With the evident harmony of her sculptures realised in Daum crystal, the Maison continues the edition of exceptional works with this talented artist.
